Great Adaptations

May 21–July 3, 2011

School’s almost out, but it’s always a good time to hit the books. Here are some of the best adaptations of recent years, combining great literature with big-screen entertainment. There’s something for all ages, including Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer and A Little Princess for children five and up, and excellent versions of True Grit and Scott Pilgrim for tweens and teens.

Organized by Rachael Rakes, Assistant Curator of Film
