EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Museum of the Moving Image provides curriculum-based learning experiences
for over 30,000 students a year. Tours of the exhibitions, film screenings,
and hands-on workshops engage students and aid in teaching the core curriculum.Visits to the Museum can include any combination of the Museum's diverse educational offerings. Visits generally average around two hours in length but can extend to a full school day. The Museum recommends its programs for grades 4 and above.
The Museum's programs meet New York City and New York State learning standards in Social Studies, English Language Arts, Math, Science, and Technology, and The Arts.
