MOVING IMAGE AWARDS 2019: HONORING NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC

Monday, June 24, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. at Museum of the Moving Image

Museum of the Moving Image will present the 2019 Moving Image Award to National Geographic at its annual spring/summer benefit event recognizing media industry leaders and innovators. The evening will feature cocktails, a program and awards presentation in the Sumner M. Redstone Theater, and a seated dinner.

On behalf of National Geographic, the Award will be accepted by Gary Knell, Chairman of National Geographic Partners, and Courteney Monroe, President of National Geographic Global Television Networks. Special guests include Kate Bosworth (The Long Road Home), Mike Massimino (One Strange Rock), Mariana Van Zeller (Explorer, Trafficked), and Dr. Serena McCalla (Science Fair)

Event Co-Chairs are Michael Barker and Ivan L. Lustig, Herbert S. Schlosser, Cheryl Henson, and Jon Kamen.

The Moving Image Awards help support the Museum's exhibitions, screenings, and education and community engagement programs, which serve youth and adults, and children and their families, most of whom are residents of the most ethnically diverse region in the world, Queens.

Individual tickets are $250–$1,000 with tables beginning at $10,000. Sponsorship opportunities are also available.
