Name a Theater Seat or Building Panel

There is no better way to support the transformed Museum than to make a contribution and name a theater seat or a building panel.

Theater Seats
The Moving Image Theater is a movie palace for the digital age. Featuring state-of-the-art projection in every format from 16mm to 70mm and Digital 3-D, the 267-seat theater offers an unsurpassed filmgoing experience within unforgettable surroundings. The 68-seat Celeste and Armand Bartos Screening Room offers an intimate space for education programs and public screenings.

In recognition of your generous gift, we will name a seat in either the Moving Image Theater or the Bartos Screening Room in your honor, or you may choose to name a seat in honor of a special movie lover in your life so their passion will live on as an enduring legacy. You will be recognized on the donor wall in our new lobby.

Building Panels

Architect Thomas Leeser’s design for the Museum’s new facility is striking, thoroughly reimagining the ground floor of the existing building and providing a remarkable three-story addition. Triangular aluminum panels on the outer skin of the building come together to form an ethereal reflective screen. We invite you to support the Museum’s singular mission by naming a panel. Donors to this campaign are counted as builders of the Museum’s dramatic and architecturally innovative new façade. Your gift will support the Museum’s education programs, and you will be recognized on the donor wall in our beautiful new lobby.

For more information about naming opportunities, please contact Christina Marouda, Deputy Director for Development, at 718 777 6844.
