The Muppet Show: The U.K. spots

Part of Jim Henson's World (2015)
Saturday, June 20, 2015, 1:00 p.m.

In the United Kingdom where The Muppet Show was taped, commercial breaks were shorter, so there was always an extra two minutes of content—a rip-roaring musical number or sketch, sometimes even an old music hall song catered to English tastes—in the international version that did not appear in the United States. In this program, we present a compilation of these rare, restored, and never-before-seen U.K. spots. Program duration: 90 mins.

Tickets: $12 ($9 for senior citizens and students / free for members at the Film Lover level and above). Order tickets online. (Members may contact with any questions regarding online reservations.)

All tickets include same-day admission to the Museum (see gallery hours). View the Museum’s ticketing policy here. For more information on membership and to join online, visit our membership page.
