My Darling Clementine
Dir. John Ford. 1946, 103 mins. 35mm restored print courtesy of the UCLA Film & Television Archive. Restoration funding provided by The Film Foundation. With Henry Fonda, Victor Mature, Linda Darnell. The real-life story of the reluctant lawman Wyatt Earp (who Ford had actually met) provides the basis of Ford’s tender masterpiece.
