Loosely based on Diana Wynn Jones’s novel, Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki created a world filled with witches and curses where a young woman, Sophie, is turned into an old woman by a curse and a castle has legs! Sophie meets Howl, a wizard who is also cursed, and his castle filled with an odd assortment of friends that become family. Together they must try to undo their curses and find self-acceptance. Recommended for ages 8+.

The screening of Howl's Moving Castle on Thursday, December 27, 1:00 p.m. will be presented in Japanese with English subtitles.
