The Four Seasons

Part of Rita Moreno: Scene Stealer
Sunday, November 28, 3:30 p.m.
Museum of the Moving Image - Redstone Theater

Dir. Alan Alda. 1981, 107 mins. 35mm. With Alan Alda, Carol Burnett, Len Cariou, Sandy Dennis, Rita Moreno, Jack Weston, Bess Armstrong. Alda’s directorial debut, made while M*A*S*H was still a top-rated series and the actor was a perennial Emmy nominee, was a critical and box-office sleeper hit. An ensemble comedy gloss on the Vivaldi compositions, The Four Seasons follows three couples on seasonal group vacations, their dynamic disrupted when one of the men (Cariou) takes up with a younger woman. Moreno plays the fiery Claudia, an Italian-American artist looking to rekindle the spark in her marriage to a neurotic dentist.

Tickets: $15 / $11 senior and students / $9 youth (ages 3–17) / discounted for MoMI members ($7–$11). Order tickets. Please pick up tickets at the Museum's admissions desk upon arrival. All seating is general admission. Review safety protocols before your visit.
