The Museum offers a variety of discounts on admissions, and Museum visitors and members also receive special discounts at various colleague institutions, movie theaters, and local restaurants.
Discounts on Admissions
- Free admission to the galleries every Friday evening from 4:00–8:00 p.m
- Free admission for teachers with valid ID and active-duty military personnel
- Free admission for New York City families registered with "Cool Culture”
- Discounted admission for WFUV members
Discounts for Museum Visitors
- A 10% discount on nearby parking at PV Parking Corp, 34-11 Steinway Street (entrance on 41 Street, between 34 & 35 Avenue; wheelchair accessible).
Discounts for Members
- Free admission to the Museum, including unlimited admission to the Museum’s galleries and regular screenings
- Free admission to the Queens Museum of Art and two-for-one admission to Museum of the City of New York
- Reduced-price movie tickets at Cinema Village
- Discounts at local restaurants including Five Napkin Burger (directly opposite the Museum; 10% discount), The Astor Room (adjacent to the Museum; 15% discount), Agnanti, Café Bar, Ovelia, Uno Chicago Grill, El Boqueron, Lucas Steakhouse, and Locale
- A 15% discount on nearby parking at PV Parking Corp (34-11 Steinway Street)
